NEWS &        Exciting Events!

Rita was pleased to be part of Pepperell's celebration of their native daughter, Prudence Wright.  250 years ago, Prudence and her all female militia captured 2 Tory spies as they were crossing the Nashua river by the bridge in Pepperell. Rita presented her Prudence monologue from her show, Women of '76, on the bridge and was followed by a reenactment , poems and 18th century music.   This event was  part of a Massachusetts' statewide celebration marking the battles of Lexington and Concord and the beginning of the American Revolution.

Rita was honored to present Women of '76 for Chelsea 250, part of a statewide celebration marking the start of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775. Rita performed for a full house at the Chelsea Library in March. The audience so enjoyed having her, that the library is planning on having her back!
